Early 1900's European Diamond Engagement Ring 1.12 ctw GIA Platinum
A piece of jewelry is classified as an antique once is reaches 100 years old. This all original engagement ring dates back to the Edwardian era, circa 1901-1910, a true antique. The center of the ring features a GIA certified 0.76 carat Old European cut Round Diamond. During this time electricity was not readily available and these diamonds were cut by foot pedal using candle light. This cut has charming characteristics and is truly a work of art. The round center diamond is beautifully encompassed by bright white accent diamonds and the setting has beautifully hand tooled details in the metalwork. The total carat weight of all the diamonds in the engagement ring is 1.12 carats.
