8.38ctw Edwardian GIA Certified Imperial Topaz Ring
An extremely rare find, this masterfully crafted antique Imperial Topaz and cultured pearl halo ring dates back to the turn of the 20th century and evokes the airily romantic aesthetic of Edwardian design. The exquisite setting showcases this GIA certified gemstone in a combination of a bezel setting with lots of delicate prongs. Adding a lovely, feminine and romantic touch, are seed pearls surrounding the Imperial topaz.
The 21 – 3mm pearls display a glowing gray hue that contrasts wonderfully against the yellowish-orange gem and yellow gold setting. This utterly unique ring is a strikingly beautiful work of artistry, a wearable artifact of a past era. Imperial topaz, also known as precious topaz, is the rarest color of topaz – a golden-orange to pink hue.
This incredibly eye-catching topaz has been certified by GIA as “Yellowish Orange” classifying this as the most desired topaz, imperial. It is a combination of “modified brilliant-cut ” and “step cut” with “transparent” property.
