COMMENTS: Crafted of platinum, this wonderful pin dates back to the Edwardian era. The circular design measures just over 1″ with an elegant bow at the top. Throughout the pin are blue sapphires which add a nice pop of color, and sparkling diamonds. The 16 diamonds are transitional cut and total just shy of 1/2 carat. Ornate pierced detail and milgrain give this pin a delicate and feminine appearance. Sapphire’s breathtaking blues have captured our imagination and inspired designs. Ancient lore tells us that blue sapphire brought spiritual enlightenment, inner peace, wisdom, insight, and the discernment to choose what’s right. It is September’s birthstone and celebrates the 5th and 45th wedding anniversary. Birthstone: September Anniversary: 5, 45 Zodiac: Capricorn. Circa Early 1900’s.
