COMMENTS: A cut made popular in the Georgian Era (the 1700s), Rose Cut diamonds have a domed top displaying many triangle shape facets and a flat base. The 5mm diamonds are securely bezel set with pointed style prongs that come off the crown style setting. The settings stand about 1/4″ off the ear with unique cutout detail. There are additional small accent diamonds that project of the classic diamond studs. The earrings are posts with secure friction backs. The earrings are crafted of 14k rose gold. It is rare to find a pair of earrings dating back to the 1800’s! Pictured as received from a local estate. Excellent estate condition with minimal wear indicative of age. One of the smaller diamonds is chipped.
