COMMENTS: Crafted of 14k yellow and white gold, this claddagh ring features a white gold heart in the center accented by a 4 point diamond. The diamond is securely prong set. At the top of the heart is a yellow gold crown and the shank forms hands to hold the heart and crown. Culturally, these rings are worn as commitment rings or wedding rings. When the heart is facing in, it means you are taken, however, if you flip the ring so the point of the heart it facing out, it means you are looking for love! The Claddagh ring (Irish: fáinne Chladaigh) is a traditional Irish ring which represents love, loyalty, and friendship (the hands represent friendship, the heart represents love, and the crown represents loyalty). Circa 1980’s. Pictured as received from a local estate. Excellent estate condition with minimal wear indicative of age.
