COMMENTS: In 1860, lockets turned into a symbol of mourning. People would wear a locket to express their loss, holding either a picture of the deceased or a lock of their hair. It was a beautiful way to remember a loved one and keep them close to the heart.

Crafted of 14k yellow gold, circa 1960s. Pictured as received from a local estate. Excellent estate condition with minimal wear indicative of age. Coin pictured for size comparison. Additional measurements provided upon request.

We offer 6-month layaway of regular-priced items over $500. We will divide your purchase into 6 equal payments and invoice you each month. Layaways are non-transferable and final sales.
