COMMENTS: Crafted of 14k yellow gold, this long necklace features 16 royal blue beads made of Lapis. The beads are spaced about 1 1/4″ from each other with a loose rope style chain in between. The chain measures 30″ in length which makes it great for layering with a bohemian style! An aristocratic, noble blue stone shot through with golden specks or veins, lapis jewelry appears widely in royal burials going back to antiquity — most famously as the blue of King Tut’s eyebrows. Set in gold, lapis is a mainstay in men’s and women’s rings alike. Anniversary: 9. Circa 1980’s. Pictured as received from a local estate. Excellent estate condition with minimal wear indicative of age.
