COMMENTS: Crafted of 14k yellow gold, this pendant features a pear cut sapphire measuring 1.70 carat with lovely blue color. The stone is securely prong set with a scalloped halo surrounding it. The bail is large enough to accommodate a variety of chains. Sapphire’s breathtaking blues have captured our imagination and inspired designs. Ancient lore tells us that blue sapphire brought spiritual enlightenment, inner peace, wisdom, insight, and the discernment to choose what’s right. It is September’s birthstone and celebrates the 5th and 45th wedding anniversary. Birthstone: September Anniversary: 5, 45 Zodiac: Capricorn. Circa 1980’s. Pictured as received from a local estate. Very good estate condition with minimal wear indicative of age. The stone has a few blemishes.
