1.11 ctw Art Deco Sapphire & Old European Diamond Ring Two Tone Gold
This beautiful 1.11 ctw Art Deco Sapphire & Old European Diamond Ring Two Tone Gold, dates back to the early 1920’s, a true antique. The center of the ring features a 0.83ct oval cut natural Sapphire. The Sapphire displays a velvety ink blue hue & light refracts throughout the gemstone brilliantly.
The Sapphire has been securely set in a bezel setting and is accented by (2) quality Old European diamonds. The setting is constructed of 18k white gold and 14k yellow gold. The setting is designed with geometric shapes and a pierced filigree side profile.
Designers loved to use shapes and architectural influences in their pieces during this era. Pictured as received from a local estate, in very good estate condition with minimal wear indicative of age. This era is especially sought after today, this is one a one of a kind piece of history.
