COMMENTS: Set with a large purple sapphire, this darling and distinguished classic jewel, hand-fabricated 18K gold was made at the beginning of the last century. The purple sapphire has a slight pink color change in certain lighting. The setting is incredible with scalloped undergallery and unique prongs. The stone is impressive in size and the setting adds to the beauty! The ring stands out and will be a statement piece at 1/2″ off the finger. Pictured as received from a local estate. Very good estate condition with minimal wear indicative of age.
