Natural Emerald and Diamond 1.76 ctw Georgian Ring 14k Gold and Silver
A rare and unique find dating back to the Georgian era (1714-1830)! This was once a pearl clasp and is free from any damage or permanent alterations. We added a shank to make this into a ring by using the loops where a necklace would be attached so the clasp is still in its original state and the shank can be removed if desired. The emerald is bright and eye catching at 1 1/2 carats! There are 16 table cut diamonds set in the silver top which scallops around the emerald. The ring fits like a 7 1/4. The incredible emerald and fascinating setting is sure to draw a lot of attention. We figured converted this into a ring would be more desirable for today. Pictured as received from a local estate. Very good estate condition with minimal wear indicative of age.
