COMMENTS: Crafted of 14k yellow gold, this vintage ring is set with opals full of color play! The pear cut opal in the center measures just under 1/2 carat and is securely prong set in a halo of round cabochon cut opals. The halo is made up of 2.1mm – 3mm opals which add 1/2 carat to the gem total weight of the ring. The setting is yellow gold which contrasts brightly against the opals. The opals glow whitish blue with bright flashes of green and purple. Circa 1940-50’s. Pictured as received from a local estate. Very good estate condition with minimal wear indicative of age. The center stone is chipped at the point.
