The emerald was graded as a transparent, green, Natural Beryl mined in Colombia.
The stone is Clarity Enhanced, F2. Due to the growth conditions and recovery methods, most emeralds contain surface reaching features. For this reason, clarity enhancement is a common practice. The emerald is set in a rich 18k yellow gold 4-prong head. The remainder of the ring is crafted of platinum with 2 baguette diamond accents. Circa 1980’s.
